WELCOME TO THE ETERNALS
We are looking forward to an exciting year ahead, full of learning, discovery and fun.
I am Mrs Murray and will be The Eternals class teacher. We will be supported by Miss Gill each morning with Mrs Mulraine and Mrs Birch supporting us in the afternoons. Mrs Birch will cover on a Monday afternoon and every other Wednesday afternoon when I am out of class.
Our PE days will be Tuesday, and Friday. Please ensure children come to school with a full PE kit on those days. If you would rather, PE kits can be left in school all week on pegs.
This term, we will begin by exploring a range of thrilling topics, including:
* Maths – Place Value
* English – Character Descriptions
* History – The Egyptians
* Science – Sound and Vibrations
A quick reminder that school dinners should be ordered in advance via ParentMail. If you have any questions or queries about this, please get in touch with the school office.
All children will receive 10 minutes of weekly homework which will be set through Spelling Shed and Times Tables Rock Stars. These will be set on a Monday morning and tested on a Friday. We also ask that children read with an adult at least 3 times a week. This can be recorded in your child’s reading record.
