Welcome to the Justice League!
The Justice League (aka, the best class in school) work hard, enjoy learning and collaborate to make things happen. We want each pupil to feel individual success and achieve amazing things in a safe and supportive environment. The class is a welcoming space that allows pupils to be who they are, express themselves and have their voice heard. We follow our nine core values and learn from the mistakes we may make along the way.
The Justice League is taught by Miss Katz and supported by Mrs Wood as well as other adults popping in and out throughout the week. All staff are there to help and support not just learning, but social, emotional and mental health of pupils.
Attendance and Punctuality
Pupils are expected to be in school at 8:40 for their morning task and preparation for the day. Correct uniform, correct mindset and correct equipment is important to have a successful day.
Our PE days are Tuesdays and Thursdays however PE kits are expected to be in at all times in preparation for last minute changes or additions. Red t-shirts, black shorts/joggers and sensible trainers/pumps are essential for PE lessons.
Homework will be given to the children every Monday; this primarily includes spellings which need to be practised within sentences. Additionally, there will be maths and SPaG activities set on Spelling Shed for the children to complete. We would also love the children to read three times a week.
Home – School communication
We want to celebrate learning and share successes with parents so keep updated via the Dojo class story and social media pages. Dojo points are used to reward positive behaviour, star of the day is given as well as our pebbles for teamwork (which give a whole class reward).
It is an important year for both year five and year six this year so we want to make it as smooth as we can. We want pupils ‘To be the best you can be’.
Do not hesitate to contact me whenever you need. I am always a quick Dojo message away.
