Welcome to Paw Patrol!
We are delighted to welcome you to Paw Patrol – our Reception class, taught by Mrs Lane and supported by Mrs Carrigan (HLTA), Miss Hodgson (TA), and Miss Irving (apprentice). Together, we make a strong and caring team, ready to support every child as they take their first steps in their exciting school journey.
In Paw Patrol, our classroom is filled with curiosity, creativity, and care. We nurture each child to grow in confidence, build friendships, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
As part of our school, we proudly uphold the values of Respect, Resilience, and Responsibility. In Reception, these shine through in the way we play, explore, and learn together. Whether we are trying something new, helping a friend, or celebrating achievements, we always do our very best.
Our PE day is a Wednesday, please make sure your child has a PE kit so they are ready to join in. A red t-shirt, black shorts/joggers, and sensible trainers/pumps are essential for PE lessons.
We use Class Dojo to share the children’s wonderful learning and keep families updated with life in Paw Patrol. It’s a fantastic way to celebrate achievements and stay connected. If you need to contact us, please feel free to send a message via Class Dojo – we are always happy to help and believe that strong home–school communication is key.
We also encourage families to read regularly at home with their child. Just a few minutes each day can make a huge difference in developing early reading skills and a love of stories. We will start with their sounds and build up to reading books.
We are so excited to begin this adventure together – here’s to a fantastic year in Paw Patrol!
