Meet the Team
Mrs Taylor is the class teacher who will eventually share the teaching with Miss Dickson and is supported by Mrs Wood, who works closely with pupils to ensure that every child is able to reach their full potential. Together, we strive to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where every child can flourish both academically and personally.
Our Curriculum
Throughout the year, pupils will engage in a broad and exciting curriculum that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning. From exploring significant events and civilisations in History to carrying out practical scientific investigations and developing geographical understanding, there will be many opportunities to learn and grow.

Physical Education
PE lessons take place every Monday and Thursday. Children should bring their full PE kit on these days. Through a range of sporting activities, pupils will develop their teamwork, coordination, fitness, and confidence while enjoying an active and healthy lifestyle.
Homework
Homework is set each Monday and should be completed and returned by Friday. Tasks will include reading, spelling, and times tables practice. We greatly appreciate the support of parents and carers in helping children establish positive homework habits and routines.
Year 6 SATs
Year 6 is an important year as pupils prepare for their SATs assessments in May. Throughout the year, we will focus on developing confidence, resilience, and key skills in Reading, Mathematics, and SPaG (Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar). With consistent effort at school, regular practice at home, and a positive attitude, every child can achieve their very best.
