Today, pupils in school recognised National Career Week in assembly.

We discussed having aspirations and the goals we can then set to achieve those aspirations. We discussed short term, medium and long term goals. We discussed some of the things we want to do when we are older but acknowledge it is okay to not be 100% yet and realised that we may end up doing totally different jobs to what we think we will be doing.

We recognise the importance of being the best we can be in school in order to open a world of opportunities as we grow older.

Why not share with your children some of the many jobs you have all done up until now?

Throughout this week, pupils will be asking the adults in school about the many jobs we have all done before we became teachers!
