Congratulations to our Superstar learners and Headteacher award winners this week!
Pupils yet again are demonstrating their commitment to showing an outstanding attitude to learning. Winners this week involved pupils who are making huge progress in VIPERS and phonics (our reading teaching,) pupils who have shown themselves to be 3R stars by being responsible members of the CLPS community and pupils who have shown resilience to master new concepts in their lessons.
A huge recognition to our Innovate winners who represented our school perfectly at the Innovate final yesterday – they are perfect ambassadors for our school and we are all very proud of them.
Well done everyone, not long left to go this term… just two weeks and 3 days more of giving your best effort and being the best you can be before a well-earned break!
Our Attendance Winners this Week
Congratulations to the Year 3/4 Fantastics for winning our attendance trophy this week with 96.5%
Finally the Year 2’s have been toppled but… both Y2 classes finished in 2nd and 3rd place this week. Come on everyone else…. Can you do better than the Year 2 and Year 3/4 Fantastics next week?!
ATTENDANCE MATTERS
Children who are achieving the most are those who have attendance of 95% or above. Please ensure your child is in school and on time, ready to learn.
Please encourage your child to have a good attitude towards learning as this will allow them to grow and flourish. Please be aware that the local authority and the government’s Department for Education have instructed all schools to focus on poor attendance and to support adults at home in ensuring their children are in school.
Thank you for your continued support and have a lovely weekend, everyone!
