Our class is called the Incredibles and we are living up to our name.

Miss Carroll, our Deputy Headteacher, teaches us on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning. Mrs Borlos teaches us on a Thursday and Friday. Miss Jackson, Mrs Aldridge and Mrs Wood also help us with our learning.

We are working really hard in class with our counting, reading and writing. We are currently reading the book Beegu. In Maths, we have been learning our number bonds to 10. Our topic for the Autumn term is Transport. We have been learning about how transport has changed through History. In art, we are creating hot air balloons from papier-mâché. We have PE on a Monday and Tuesday and have been learning to move in different ways.

We love to do Science through our Developing Experts scheme on Thursday & Friday and our topic this term is Exploring Everyday Materials.  We have been sorting materials by their properties, learning new vocabulary such as rigid and flexible and investigating which materials are transparent, translucent or opaque using torches.  We really enjoyed carrying out tests to see if materials can twist, bend or soak up water.
