Today, the pupils and staff of Caldew Lea impeccably observed a two-minute silence to mark Armistice Day.

Some pupils visited the Cenotaph in the city centre to lay a wreath on behalf of our school. Some pupils have also sold poppies and snap bands this week to raise money the Royal British Legion who do so much to support families of fallen soldiers both past and present and to support soldiers and their families once they have left service. Mrs Rogers also beautifully decorated our office window as a further mark of respect.

Lest we forget.
