I hope you are all enjoying the half term holiday (despite the grim weather). We are looking forward to welcoming all the children back on Monday. There may be some operational changes in place depending on what is announced by the government over the weekend. We will keep you updated throughout the weekend if necessary.
You will already be aware that Carlisle has moved into tier 2 of the government’s scale due to the increase in positive Covid cases in the local area.
We will continue to review our risk assessments and procedures to make sure we do all we can to minimise the risk in school.
One change that we MUST now put in place at this stage is that we will be making it mandatory for all Parents/Guardians to wear a face covering whilst on school premises, unless you are unable to for medical reasons.
This will come in to force from Monday 2nd November and we expect your full support in this matter.
We would also like to ask everyone to leave the school premises very promptly after drop off/collection and not to arrive too early on the school site.
It is also more important than ever now that we maintain very strict social distancing in the playground.
As parents, you have supported school brilliantly throughout this pandemic and we are asking you now to continue to support us as we take increased measures to protect our children, families and staff.
Thank you for your understanding.
